Picking up rubbish at Woodlands Waterfront

On 30 September 2011, Wednesday, we went to the Woodlands Waterfront to pick up the rubbish and we were given CIP hours for that...
That day was really a hot day. The sun was scorching hot. As we will be walking there, I brought an umbrella along.
We will being told that the walk will be around 20 to 30 minutes. As we do not want to walk for such a long time and long route, we requested our teacher to allow us to take the public bus. Unfortunately, they did not allow us to do so.
Sadly, we left the school.
On the way there, my friends and I joked around with each other and i really enjoy it.

As we were being told to close up the gaps in between ourselves, we will run as though we were running for our life when there were gaps to close up them up at random times.

We also took several pictures on the way there.

When we reached the Woodlands Waterfront, most of us were sweating from head to toe. Our legs were also feeling very tired after walking such a long distance.

After reaching the shelter where our bottles and things were placed, each of us took two gloves each. One group of about five students took a black plastic bag and we set off from there to pick up the rubbish from the floor.

Seeing from the picture, there isn't much rubbish but when you look thoroughly on the floor, there are a lot of cigarette smoke and dead leaves.

Feeling tired of picking up the rubbish, we went to play for a little while.

We took several pictures of ourselves.

That was really very fun.
After taking the pictures, we were called back to the shelter by our teacher.

After gathering for about five minutes, my friends and I, after getting the permission from our teacher to buy drinks from the vending machine, we went to buy the drinks.
After that, we walked back to our school.
On the way back to school, we, again, took pictures.

As suggested by one of my friends, we went to kick our classmates' butt. (We did not really kick their butt but we act as though we really kick their butt when another friend capture the image down) XD

Upon reaching the school, we were all feeling very tired. Some of my friends even had blisters on their foot the next day.
Although it was a very tiring day, most of us enjoyed ourselves and I hope that there will be more of such events in the future. =P

~My difficulty with English~

My English language had never been good. I never get an 'A' before in primary school, except during PSLE. Perhaps it's my luck.
I am a Chinese. And my family members never speak proper English, except my elder sister, who is in secondary 2. My parents only know how to speak broken English or Singlish as they studied Chinese Education instead of English Education.
Even though, in my family, my sister and i knows English, we seldom communicate with each other in English.
In school, i will only speak English when i am with my Malay or Indian friends. I rarely speak English to my Chinese friends as i have poor pronunciation, which might otherwise embarrass myself if i were to pronoun a word wrongly.
Often, i will misuse the pairs of words: 'will' and 'would', 'can' and 'could', 'shall' and 'should', etc. Even though i have asked my English teacher before, i still do not really understand.
Also, i do not know much vocabulary. Unlike my friends, i hardly use good vocabulary in composition. Sometimes, i can think of one, but often i do not know how to spell. Finding a good vocabulary in my composition might be quite difficult.
Although my English is not good now, i will strive and do my very best to increase the standard of my English language. I will NeVer ever give up...
